I am now at the middle of the Saharan Desert at the south-west part of Libya. As I don't have much thing to do at night and also not wanting to sleep too early in my 4x3 meter container where my room is, so I came back to my "office-container" 7x3 meter and hooked up my internet and start writing what i am doing now at the desert.
At noon, it was very hot. Maybe it was around 50 degC hot outside. I would not able to stand too long outside and tried to go to the shed whenever possible.
I did some work with few other engineers here and gave a control test to Berdy, a Turkmenistan 26 yrs Field Engineer, for his promotion at the end of this month.
I need to walk through the desert from the office to my room-container around 500 meter away.
Tonight I had a chat with Field manager here, Amr El Essawi, an Egyptian buddy, hard and efficient worker. He told some stories about his recent Honeymoon in Bali, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phi-phi island in Thailand and Phuket beach. He really wants to go back to Bali as he feels it is by far the best place to enjoy holiday.
